Hurray, you’re pregnant!
You've got a little one on the way! How exciting! Not just for you as a future mummy, but also for your possible partner. You’ll usually find out you’re pregnant somewhere between the 4th and 8th week of pregnancy. A whole new world will be opening up to you, especially if this is your first pregnancy. You’ll be visiting a midwife for the very first time and you’ll be overloaded with all sorts of information. What are the things you’ll need to arrange during the forthcoming weeks and what are you going to have to buy? Following is some useful summarised information regarding the various different phases of pregnancy. Enjoy this incredibly special time!

Er is een kindje op komst! Spannend! Niet alleen voor jou als toekomstige moeder, maar ook voor je eventuele partner. Meestal weet je tussen de 4e en de 8e week dat je in verwachting bent. Zeker bij een eerste zwangerschap gaat er een hele nieuwe wereld voor je open. Je gaat voor de eerste keer naar de verloskundige en wordt overladen met allerlei informatie. 0 to 12 weeks pregnant
You’re now in the first 12 weeks of your pregnancy. The production of pregnancy hormones may result in a number of minor ailments. Perhaps you’ve already noticed some changes to your body too. 13 to 26 weeks pregnant
You’re 13 to 26 weeks pregnant. Many women experience this trimester as the most comfortable. The annoying nausea and fatigue often start to fade into the background at this point. Your pregnancy is now also truly starting to feel real: the midwife can tell your baby’s gender and your belly is most definitely growing! 27 to 42 weeks pregnant
You’re 27 to 42 weeks pregnant. You’re on the home straight, although that final mile is often the longest. Are you completely ready for your little one’s arrival? Have you finished the nursery and are those nappies ready in the drawer?
